AF Day 283

FOB Smart at 1730 - Tuesday

Seattle, Washington, is the place for me! I am moving to Seattle in May/June 2012. I have less than 70 days until I pick up my son in Seattle and less than 100 days until he and I spend the first night in our new Seattle digs. That makes it less than 110 days until I begin working for Fulcrum again. I am feeling very good about the way ahead right now. This has been, so far for me, a deployment of many, many experiences, mostly excellent - work wise anyway, and with such a short amount of time left I am beginning to feel the weight of this time away from my son lifted from my shoulders.

As for today, it has been another fine day lacking in any significant "excitement" and not too exciting either. But a fine day nevertheless and another one greatly appreciated by most. I will fly north to visit a project and be gone for a few days soon. This would not ordinarily fall to me, but with our rotation in full swing as of this week, I offered to cover and get out and about briefly. I long for the warmth to return and it shall. I'd say that by the time I leave in a couple of months, it could very well be close to the century mark again.

143, Kaesen.

Good night and good day.
