FOB Smart at 1700 - Saturday
Another day down and another night is here. The morning began like any other - and then the snows returned! We have yet more snow forecast tomorrow and Monday as well. What is the deal with the weather here? I thought I was coming to a hot desert... Well, at least we have heaters too.
Our security and staff meeting this evening went well - and fast. Dinner is upon us. Saturdays used to be FOB movie nights, but this routine stopped months ago. Not that it affects me or my smaller group of movie aficionados; we watch movies nightly by 1900. I am not certain what movie we will choose for tonight, but I am certain it'll be good.
Kaesen, my son, and his mother are heading north to Seattle today to watch a horse show, Cavalia, and Kaesen is aware only that his daddy is surprising him with something fun to do with his mother. I wish that I could be there to see his excitement, but I am happy he can go nevertheless. Soon he and I will be making more memories together too.
