The photographs below were taken on 22 March 2012. Images of today's mounted combat patrol with dismounts through New Qalat City show the harsh life you can only imagine that our Afghan brothers and sisters cheerfully accept. Through it all, the smiling faces have etched permanently into my heart. Even when spat upon, these smiling faces make it better. One Team One Fight. Enjoy!
