Las Cruces, New Mexico, at 0700 - Thursday
Christmas is only three days away and Santa comes in two. My son is excited with the prospects of a white Christmas and a nice haul from Santa, he hopes, this year. I have, in recent years before Kaesen was born, slipped away from the magic and excitement of Christmas, but with my son I regained the feeling and love how he is coming to love this holiday. As such, I happily have more shopping to complete before the big day.
We enjoyed three fires in my brother's back and front yards last night, Kaesen and I splashed massive in the hot tub, and the hot cocoa was flowing freely before bed. Kaesen and I woke early today and the first thing he wanted to do was hit the hot tub - but I have to draw the line somewhere and said we have to wait until at least 0800 - LOL.
