FOB Smart at 1745 - Sunday
With another good day of project observations outside the wire behind me, I am confident in the progression of them during my absence and with my coworkers. Being so close to the winter no concrete construction stoppage anyway, it was good to see them before the cold really sets in, which will most certainly occur during my pending R&R.
I leave tomorrow for Kandahar and then several days from now I will be aboard a wonderful airliner carrying me back home to my boy.
We were treated with homemade pizza by our DynCorp dining facility tonight. Craft, our favored engineering interpreter, also bought me traditional Afghan kabobs and delicious Afghan bread, which was delivered to us hot and fresh, so we ate a feast for dinner a few minutes ago.
143, Kaesen.
Good night and good day.
