AF Day 200

FOB Smart at 2000 - Wednesday

We completed another foot patrol outside the wire this morning. The projects nearby appeared normal and were busy with work in various stages of completion. I know I say this all the time now, but it was cold this morning again. I am ready to start wearing my long-johns. It should start freezing here in the next two or three weeks, so work will halt immediately thereafter. The break will be a welcome change of pace, if only briefly, for us all.

The days come later and nights earlier than they used to, which is expected with the change in seasons. Maybe we'll get a large snowfall soon. Holiday spirit is felt even here so many miles away from home.

143, Kaesen.

Good night and good day.
