AF Day 190

FOB Smart at 1115 - Sunday

I have already completed several site observations on the FOB, met with three contractors, checked in with several projects and their contacts, reviewed a contractor solicitation, and stopped at the medical clinic to have my throat checked - and all of this was accomplished before 1000. I have several more contractor follow up calls and meetings today, more observations of progress, and all while cheerfully counting down the seconds until I see my son!

One of my coworkers left for training on KAF today, via helicopter, and another is hopefully flying out of Kuwait this evening to go see his family in Colorado (John Morgan, TSgt USAF). Our team is strong. The weather is good, although I had to wear my jacket this morning along with a beanie. All is well, friends.

143, Kaesen.

Good night and good day.
