AF Day 096

FOB Smart at 0830 - Thursday

Twenty-one days and a wake-up until I hold my babies again! Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping, into the future... oh happy days. Missions momentarily pull me away, but my thoughts will always remain here with you right now, my loves.

The pace set for our missions dictates how well we realize success or risk failure. Establishing the pace early on is something we must do to ensure the end results of missions are amenable to our goals. For us here in Qalat the mission pace is thus brisk and wrought with "excitement" so strong you can literally taste the electric current running through your mouth ~ or it seems anyway. Today with my missions seemingly routine, we will go through the motions as though for the first time doing so and qualify the quality of work, materials utilized, and standards adhered to by our local Afghan contractors. sounds like fun, does it not?

143, K&K.

Good night and good day.
