AF Day 092

FOB Smart at 1530 - Sunday

Work, work, and more work... and I love every minute of it! Life is good, no, life is great, no, life is excitingly spectacular here in Afghanistan. Today has been no different than most, although we did have a little "excitement" earlier and the related preparations necessary to "handle" it professionally. All is well that ends well.

I have roughly 25 days plus four flights over 25+ hours and I will be home on R&R. I am so excited I can barely contain it, y'all. The look on my face as I am walking through airport security and seeing the looks on K&K's faces will be glorious. Come on New Mexico weather, keep it a little warm, heat the pool water up a little, have the hot tub on high heat standby, and cool down the Coors Lights for Daddy, because he's coming home! K's fourth birthday is on September 13th, so fun times are ahead for us all.

I have a little more work to finish yet today, so I will sign off for now...

143, K&K.

Good night and good day.
