FOB Smart at 2230 - Thursday
I said what-what...
It was a good day here in southern Afghanistan for me and my motley crew. We fought hard, road hard, and lived like kings amongst the men and women of this land. Okay, so maybe we did nothing of the sort, but it was a great day nevertheless. It began with an early morning trip to the tippy-top of Alexander's Castle and ended with me here and now.
I miss my family and friends. I miss K&K and cannot wait to see them in September!
